Use Dictation to Develop your Listening and Writing English Skills!

Listen interesting native common conversations and then try to write what you hear, sentence by sentence. The results will surprise you.

This app is a RSS reader for one but great podcast channel English as a Second Language (ESL) Podcast from www.eslpod.com. If you learn English and like this podcast you can now have an advanced player for the episodes. Tap any sentence from the text of a dialogue to play it in one of the following modes: slow, fast and explanation.
Built-in translator! You can send unknown words to the trainings Listen & Repeat and Phrase Builder.

And one more thing: a dictation mode! Write each sentence from the dialogue while its being played to improve you listening and writing. The app will check you after typing each symbol.

Note #1. We provide additional timing markup for each episode so not all episodes are interactive yet but this is a work in progress. Check label "interactive" beside each episode. We do not keep any copyrighted material. All audio and text of the dialogues come from the free RSS channel.

Note #2. This is an "unofficial" app just from eslpod.com fans.
